Transcending the Value-Based Judging of the Dualist Mind

"There are no good or bad, beautiful or ugly people, things, or circumstances, but just our emotionality toward them. Wisdom is to remain free from judging, aware of our emotions."

Value-based judging limits and stiffens your perspective, narrows your outlook, reduces your options, makes your actions and those of others clumsier, hardens your heart. This workshop will teach you how to liberate yourself from value-based judging in body, speech, and mind:

  • We will work with several important distinctions on the levels of value-based judging (judging the being, a part of the being, the actions of the being, the fruits of the actions of the being, and so forth);
  • We will understand the power and consequences of value-based judgment;
  • We will review the sociobiologic and evolutionary reasons for value-based judgment, the karmic weight of value-based judging, and the spiritual evolutionary reasons for learning to suspend judgment;
  • We will do practical, hands-on exercises based on the distinctions on the degrees of value-based judgments so we can learn to decrease the caliber and effects of our judgments;
  • We will do practical, hands-on exercises to learn to replace our victim’s and judgmental positions for those of responsibility and awareness of our emotions; and
  • We will do yoga/meditation exercises to develop a unified mind which can completely suspend judgments coming from the dualist mind, even when facing shocking situations or news.

To Be is the Blissful Reality of Mind. To Do is the Activity of Love. Everything we Do is Just a Game to Recognize the Activity of Love.

There  are no people, things, or circumstances which are good or bad, beautiful or ugly; it is only our emotionality toward them what is there. Wisdom is to remain free from judging, aware of one's emotions. Alchemy is to transmute emotions, maintaining a homeostasis of harmony and wellbeing. Meditation is to recognize the thought that generates the emotion, observing it with equanimity. Mahamudra is to wake up after dying, having a vision of what has always been, is, and will be.
